Scan the truck
Every truck carries a durable QR label. The operator scans it with any phone — no login to remember. Asset360 identifies the machine and loads the correct checklist for its fuel type and class. Shared bays can run in kiosk mode instead.

Identify the operator
The operator enters their PIN. Asset360 checks authorisation in real time: an expired licence, or an operator not rated for that truck category, is blocked before the check even begins. Only authorised people operate the truck.

Run the guided check
A step-by-step HSG6 walk-around. Each item is marked pass, advisory or fail — nothing can be skipped, and a fail prompts a photo and note. Pre-job checks add load-vs-capacity and attachment items for higher-risk lifts. The operator signs off at the end.

Automatic lockout
Fail a safety-critical item — a service brake, say — and the truck is locked out of use immediately. A work order is raised and the supervisor and maintenance are notified. The machine only returns to service after a signed-off repair clears the critical defect.

Produce the evidence
Every check is a time-stamped, attributed record. The manager dashboard shows fleet completion and a compliance score, and the one-click HSE export bundles daily-check evidence, the LOLER calendar and the full audit trail into a pack you can hand over on demand.
